The Independent Review of Qualifications & Assessment was established to ensure that the achievements of all learners aged 15-18 are recognised as fair & equitable. Looking to the future, the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills announced in October 2021 the intention to reform qualifications and assessments. In the last few years there have been a number of reviews and reports which have made recommendations about our education system and assessments.
