As part of our commitment to talent development we are now accepting applications for our 2021 Apprentice Programme which commences in August 2021 for you to join as a Waste Water Treatment Modern Apprentice based in the Peebles area. What will you be doing? During this 4 year programme, you’ll be learning everything you need to know about how we treat waste water and return it to the environment safely. That means most of your days will be spent outdoors, on our operational sites - working as part of an expert and experienced team who will support you to develop your skills and knowledge and achieve a nationally recognised qualification. This is your chance to learn as you earn, working with industry-leading teams to help deliver services that are essential to the daily lives of the people of Scotland. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for people who are self-motivated, team players who enjoy being outdoors. You should be practical, well organised and a good problem solver with a positive attitude and the ability to work on your own initiative. You’ll have five National 4 or 5 Qualifications (English, Maths and Science are advantageous but not essential) and a full UK driving licence (or currently be working to achieve this) as you’ll typically be working across a number of our sites.
