Job overview

Daily prep of food for service,
Receiving deliveries, recording temperatures and storing appropriately,
Baking cakes, traybakes and scones,
Preparing food orders in a timely manner,
Adhering to food hygiene guidelines at all times,
Writing and costing dishes for menu updates,
Cleaning and washing equipment.

What will I learn?

Basic food prep skills,
Working to a high standard,
Working as part of a team,
Multitasking and organisational skills,
Menu writing and costing,
Food Hygiene and Safety,

What qualification or qualities are required?
Basic knowledge of all sections of a kitchen,
Ability to produce good quality basic food,
Understanding of health and safety,
Understanding of basic food hygiene practices,
Good oral communication,
High level of attention to detail,
Good level of numeracy Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you,
Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes,
Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work,
Positive and approachable manner,
Team player qualities,
