Job role: Engineering Maintenance Apprentice (Multi Skilled) Contract: 4 year- full time Salary: £17,157 in first year Based: Kelso, John Hogarth Mills Closing Date: 18th August 23  John Hogarth Ltd are looking for a Modern Apprentice to join their team You will work alongside other engineers who will mentor you during this time. For the Modern Apprenticeship programme you will attend Edinburgh college, Dalkeith on a part-time basis (2-days per week for 2 years) and will work towards your SVQ level 2 qualification in Performing Engineering Operations (Electrical) plus a relevant National certificate. You will also gain a discipline specific SVQ level 3 in Maintenance Engineering with the option to continue on to a Higher National Certificate You will work closely alongside the John Hogarth maintenance team of engineers learning specific skills in Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance, Fitting and Assembly and wider skills such as fabrication, etc. There maybe a full-time position at the end of the apprenticeship.
